IN.pensions is an innovative and dynamic administration system developed by Bytes Software, a wholly owned subsidiary of Bytes Technology Group. IN.pensions is at present used by two of the top five administrative companies in South Africa, as well as by the Swaziland government. This highly automated system provides a strong platform for employer and member self-service and is supported by a high-spend R&D department, a critical factor in keeping the system both ahead of the market and abreast of legislative changes.
IN.pensions supports all retirement schemes - insured, self-administered and third party administered - and allows for a wide variety of contribution types and investment portfolios. Membership data can be collected electronically directly from the employers' payroll or via contribution schedules. Access by members and employers to information and benefit statements can be via the Internet and/or hard copy, which are also mailed to the employer on a regular basis.
IN.pensions looks out for member interests by providing benefit flexibility by means of a powerful Benefits Engine; a versatile accounting infrastructure which can be tailored for a particular scheme or shared across schemes; strict accounting disciplines for all transactions, which are recorded as actual accounting transactions at both member and scheme levels; customisable online enquiries and reporting facilities; online quoting predictions; and an electronic link to SARS. |
